We recommend using the FNB Banking App to approve online transactions directly on the app instead of receiving an OTP. An OTP can be intercepted by fraudsters through phishing and sim swaps while Smart inContact on the app prevents this type of fraud. |

No OTPs

Verify devices
Make sure the devices you use for Online Banking are verified to avoid unauthorised activity on your account. |
Report Fraud
inContact messages on the FNB Banking App are for all transactions, no matter what amount. If you see a transaction that is suspicious, you can click Report Fraud to call the 24/7 FNB Fraud line on 087 575 9444. |

- Never share personal information with anyone over the phone, especially usernames, passwords, PINs and account
details.
- If a call is suspicious, hang up and call the company directly on official numbers to verify the person calling.
