Do you need to stop a debit order?

You no longer have to queue in a branch and pay R35 per instruction. As a registered FNB Banking App user you only pay R5, this means that you save R30 per debit order you stop!

		Log into the FNB Banking App and go to Account
		Scroll down to the account against which the debit order was processed
		Select the next to the account to View Options
		Scroll down and select Stop Payments on the option screen
		Follow the easy steps to stop the debit order

You will receive a confirmation SMS to confirm that your debit order has been stopped.

To prevent the debit order from being processed through your account the following month, it is important to notify the relevant company in writing.
