Now that your account has been opened, we would like to share the following information with you to ensure you enjoy maximum benefits on your account.  


Your FNB Visa Chip & PIN Cheque Card

If you selected to have your card courier delivered, please expect a call from CCD, our contracted courier company. They will contact you to arrange a date and time to deliver your card to you.

Upon delivery of your card, please have the following documentation ready for the courier:

Proof of ID (original green barcode Identification Document / valid Passport)
Valid proof of residence document (not older than 3 months)

If you opted to collect your card at an FNB branch, you will receive an SMS advising you that it is ready for collection.

Upon receiving notification that you can collect your Cheque Card, please make sure you bring the following documentation with you to the branch:

Proof of ID (original green barcode Identification Document / valid Passport)
Valid proof of residence document (not older than 3 months)


Move your Debit Orders and stand a chance to win a year's salary

Let  us take care of your debit order switching, salary switching and uploading of beneficiaries. This will enable you to activate and start transacting on your account. Submit your completed Debit Order Switching form to us within 30 days of opening your account, and stand a chance to win a year's salary. For your convenience, we’ve attached a Debit Order Switching and Salary Switching form which you can complete and send back to us.  Kindly refer to the “Quick Guide” attached  for important information regarding the switching process.


Range of smartphones, tablets and laptops on offer

If you selected the option to take up a smartdevice  during your account opening process, an FNB consultant will contact you within 48 hours.  The sales consultant will provide you with more information around the  devices  available and to complete the sale thereof.

If you have not taken up a smartdevice  and wish to do so, please logon to FNB Online Banking at www.fnb.co.za. You can select the “Order Tablet / Smartphone” menu from the “Accounts” landing page.


Register for FNB Online Banking – you pay no monthly subscription fee

To register for FNB Online Banking, visit www.fnb.co.za and click on “Register” (top right hand corner).  We encourage  our customers to make use of FNB Online Banking to enjoy the convenience of  banking anytime, anywhere, without the restriction of business hours.
