Did you know that it costs R55 to stop a debit order at a branch or via Telephone Banking? You could have saved R44 by stopping your debit order via FNB Online Banking, instead of in a branch.

Your are registered for FNB Online Banking so next time you want to stop a payment, rather go online.

Follow the steps below to stop a debit order on your account via Online Banking:
 
Log on at www.fnb.co.za and click on the Accounts tab
   
Select the account from which the debit order will go off
   
Click on Account Settings tab
   
Click the Stop Payment menu option
   
Click the Stop Debit Order sub-menu option
   
If you would like to stop a debit order:
   
 
  Click on the Add Instruction menu option
     
  Select the account from which the debit order will go off
     
  Select the day of the month on which the debit order will go off on
     
  Click the Go button
     
  A list of all the debit orders that will go off from your account on the date specified will appear
     
  Select the debit order that you would like to stop
     
  Enter the amount range that you would like stopped for that debit order eg. if the debit order is for R100 the amount range can be R90 - R110
   
Click the Stop Debit Order button to stop the debit order
