Be Aware
Lock your mobile device with a password.
Check that you’re on a secure website – indicated by a padlock in your browser.
Be Cautious

Always have up-to-date antivirus and anti-spyware software on your devices.
Keep your account numbers, ID number and email address private
Make sure your OTP and inContact details are up to date and don’t share your OTP or SMSs with anyone.
Be Vigilant
Trust your instincts – if it sounds suspicious it probably is.
Set up your email address for inContact notifications when travelling abroad.
FNB will never ask you to login to online banking via links in emails or SMSs.
