Do you need to stop a debit order?
You can stop debit orders quickly and easily on Online Banking anywhere, anytime. No need to queue at branch - and you save on bank fees
Follow these easy steps:
  1. Log onto FNB Online Banking and select My Bank Accounts
  2. Select the account the debit order is paid from and then View Debit Orders
  3. Select Menu and then Add Instruction
  4. From the list of debit orders displayed select Stop for the debit order you wish to stop
  5. Enter 'Stop amount from' and 'Stop amount to' to stop all debit orders in the selected range
  6. Review the confirmation screen and if you wish to make any changes, select Edit. Read the Note and Terms and Conditions and accept by ticking the check boxes
  7. Select Confirm.

Important
You must notify the relevant company in writing to prevent the debit order from being processed the following month.

* You can stop payments on all e-channels (FNB Online Banking - visit FNB.co.za; FNB Cellphone Banking - visit fnb.mobi or dial *120*321#; and on the FNB Banking App for phones or tablets).
* Using these channels to stop payments is always cheaper than going to a branch or using telephone banking.
* Use your FNB Online Banking login details on the FNB Banking App, FNB Tablet App or fnb.mobi.
* 24/7 banking comes standard on all e-channels.
