We are excited to announce the introduction of Digital Sales to enhance account opening through an Enterprise Sales Platform (ESP).
The Unassisted Sales process will be available to existing to bank (ETB) and new to bank (NTB) customers using
their own smart phone or laptop where they can apply for a Gold Lifestyle Account (DDA06) without credit, unassisted via App, Mobi and Online.
The process will also be available to branch walk-in customers requesting assistance. This is Assisted Sales and
will allow a staff member to open an account for a customer using Online Banking. Assisted Sales is
ring-fenced to the pilot branches John Meinert, Northern Industrial, Groove Mall and Maerua Mall.
Remember that during the Unassisted and Assisted Sales processes, customers and staff members will need to upload mandatory documentation as part of the application process. These documents include proof of ID.
Since we will be one of the first banks in the African region to introduce account opening through Unassisted
and Assisted Sales on a digital platform, it’s important that you familiarise yourself with the processes.
