Our new 'Pay and Clear Now' service via Online Banking Enterprise™ allows you to process urgent payments, real-time, across banks within Tanzania. Previously, all transactions destined for non-FNB accounts could only be processed overnight, however, the introduction of 'Pay and Clear Now' allows you to process payments to non-FNB accounts, and funds will reflect in these accounts within minutes. This is particularly useful for urgent disbursements, special salary payments or any urgent creditor payments where discounts or timeous delivery are of importance.

Due to the internal processes involved in performing real time settlement across banks, this transaction type does attract a premium transaction fee rate and is therefore recommended for urgent payments as opposed to standard payments which can be processed overnight.

Access 'Pay and Clear Now' by logging into Online Baking Enterprise™ and clicking on the Payments tab.
