We are excited to announce our new Smart inContact solution - a new way to receive OTPs - if you download the latest version of our Banking App. |

Smart inContact allows you to safely approve Online Banking transactions on the Banking App, verify devices that login to your profile, and use secure messaging to identify and report fraud immediately on any unauthorised transactions. |

What is Smart inContact? |

Approve or decline transactions
- When completing certain transactions on Online Banking, you will now approve these transactions on the Banking App. You will no longer receive your OTPs via SMS.
- You can select 'No, decline' for any unknown or suspicious transactions. Select 'Report fraud' thereafter to connect to FNB's 24/7 fraud helpline immediately.

Verify devices and login attempts
- Smart inContact will alert you via the app of any login attempts to your Online Banking profile with your username and password.
- You can select 'Report fraud' for any suspicious logins to be connected to FNB's 24/7 fraud helpline immediately.
- If you are using a PC that you normally don't use, or you login from another environment, you will be able to verify your banking login.

Secure messaging
- Secure messaging on the app is the next evolution of inContact. You will receive transaction notifications on the app for all transactions on your accounts.
- You can select 'No, decline' for any unknown or suspicious transactions. Select 'Report fraud' thereafter to connect to FNB's 24/7 fraud helpline immediately.
- Smart inContact on the FNB Banking App is free, and sends all transaction notification from 1 cent. You can change the limit on the app. This gives you full control..of money going in and out of your account.
