We are always focused on providing you a safe and secure platform to bank online. In line with this approach, we are excited to announce our new Smart inContact solution that will replace the way that you currently receive OTPs if you use the Banking App. |
|
|
|
Instead of receiving the OTP via SMS, we will now deliver a notification directly to your phone requesting you to 'Approve' or 'Decline' the transaction, or 'Report fraud' if you are not responsible for the transaction. |
|

|

How will this affect your Online Banking? |
|
|
|
As from 28 September 2016 you will no longer receive your OTPs via SMS, provided you have the latest version of the Banking App and have regularly been transacting on it. When completing transactions online that require authorisation you will need to approve these transactions on the Banking App via Smart inContact, our interactive messaging system. |

- Eliminate the risks associated with SIM swaps
- Customise your Smart inContact alerts so that you receive notifications from R0.01
- Our easy to use 'Report fraud' option is available for all transaction types

Please note, you will no longer receive your inContact messages via SMS, these will now be sent directly to your Banking App.

The Banking App is easy to use, secure to link to, and ensures transacting is only approved from your device. You need to have the latest version of the Banking App in order to use Smart inContact. Visit your app store and update your app today. |
