Internal Movers: Access Reviews

Currently, when employees move into new departments, their access to systems that they no longer require is not removed, resulting in audit findings.

It is the responsibility of the line manager to ensure that each employee joining their team has the relevant access with the accurate privileges required for them to conduct their daily job, where it’s identified that an employee has the incorrect access and or excessive privileges, immediate remedial action must be taken to resolve this.

To help manage this task, our new Internal Movers campaign will alert line managers to review access for a mover. Going forward, the line manager will receive a push notification via App when new staff members join their department. They will need to review the access and either approve or select to remove system access where it is no longer required.

This is applicable to all FirstRand staff.
